Port facility security audits

Under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003, every security regulated port and port facility in Australia must have a maritime security plan approved by CISC (Department of Home Affairs). Regulation 3.10 of the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Regulations 2003 requires that plan to include audits by auditors independent of what they audit. We provide that independent audit.

Services

  • Annual maritime security plan audit

  • Pre-inspection readiness review before a CISC inspection

  • Plan desk review against MTOFSR requirements

  • Follow-up audits to verify corrective actions

What you get

  • An audit plan agreed with your PFSO before we arrive

  • On-site audit using a checklist built on the Act, the Regulations (Division 3.3) and the ISPS Code

  • A written report with graded findings and observations

  • A corrective action register you can track to closure

  • Evidence that your plan's audit schedule is being met, to support your compliance with the Act and your dealings with CISC
