ISM Audits
Under SOLAS Chapter IX, every company and vessel operating a Safety Management System (SMS) is required to undergo regular internal audits. We review SMS documentation, procedures and shipboard practices against the ISM Code, covering safety and environmental policy, designated person authority, master's responsibility, shipboard operations, emergency preparedness and non-conformity reporting, helping protect your Document of Compliance (DOC) and Safety Management Certificate (SMC).
ISPS Audits
Under SOLAS Chapter XI-2, vessels must maintain an approved Ship Security Plan (SSP). We audit its implementation, including access control, restricted areas, security equipment, drills and exercises, and the responsibilities of the Ship Security Officer (SSO) and Company Security Officer (CSO), helping protect your International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC).
MLC Audits
Under the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, we review the standards covering seafarer working and living conditions, including hours of work and rest, crew accommodation, food and catering, health and medical care, and on-board complaint procedures, confirming conditions on board align with your Declaration of Maritime Labour Compliance (DMLC) Part II.
We carry out these audits as internal audits on behalf of ship managers and operators, and as pre-certification reviews ahead of external verification by a Recognised Organisation or flag state, helping identify and close out non-conformities early.
